Pleasing performance in low-interest environment
The investments of the Schindler Pension Fund generated a pleasing performance
of + 4.57% in 2016.
With the exception of hedge funds, all asset classes closed the year in positive territory.
At +10.0%, foreign equities generated the best result.
Within the alternative investments group, infrastructure investments closed the year up an excellent 7.5%.
Real estate – at 30% the most heavily weighted element of the portfolio – benefited from the positive investment climate to produce a return of +6.3%.
